Biography
Born May 22, 1955 in Kaliningrad in a family of employees [1] [2] .
In 1985 he graduated from the Faculty of History of Leningrad State University. A. A. Zhdanova [1] [2] .
Since 1987 - an assistant, since 1992 - a senior lecturer, since 1994 - an assistant professor, since 2003 - a professor at the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg State University [1] [2] .
In 1988, he defended a dissertation at the Leningrad State University for the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences on the topic "Social Struggle in North-Eastern Russia in the XI - Early XIII Centuries" [1] [2] .
In 2000, at St. Petersburg State University, he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences on the topic “Russia and the Mongols. A study on the history of North-Eastern Russia of the XII-XIV centuries. " [1] [2] .
