History

The village is the estate of Grand Duke Konstantin Pavlovich from which in 1806-1807 warriors of the Imperial police battalion were exhibited [2] .

On the “Topographic map of the environs of St. Petersburg” of the Military Topographic Depot of the General Headquarters of 1817, the village of Pigelyova , consisting of 17 peasant households, is mentioned [3] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, the village is also named Pigelyova [4] .

PIGELEVO - the village belongs to Sovereign Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 31 m. p. [5] (1838)

In the explanatory text to the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen in 1849, it is recorded as the village of Pihilä ( Pigelievo ) and the number of its inhabitants for 1848 is indicated: Ingermanlanders - euryamejset - 12 m., 14 w. n., a total of 28 people, Izhora - 27 people [6] .

According to the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852, the village was called Pigelievo [7] .

According to the “Topographic Map of Parts of the St. Petersburg and Vyborg Provinces” in 1860, the village of Pigelova at Shungorovskaya Manor consisted of 18 peasant households [9] .

PIPELEVO - the village of Pavlovsky city government at the well, the number of yards - 16, the number of inhabitants: 50 m., 65 w. paragraph [10] . (1862 year)

In 1885, the village of Pigelova numbered 22 yards [11] .

In the 19th century, the village was part of the Konstantinovsky volost of the 1st camp of the Peterhof district of the St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the 20th century - of the 2nd camp.

By 1913, the number of yards in the village of Pigelievo increased to 23 [12] .

From 1917 to 1919, the village of Pigelievo was part of the Pigeli village council of the Shungorov volost of Peterhof district.

Since 1919, as part of Strelno-Shungorov volost.

Since 1922, as part of the Shungorovsky Village Council.

Since 1923, as part of the Pigeli village council of Strelninsky volost of Gatchinsky district .

In 1997, in the village of Pigeliovo, Anninsky volost there was no permanent population, in 2002 18 people lived (Russians - 78%), in 2007 - also 18 people [18] [19] [20] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-140 ( Strelna - Yalgelevo ), south of the village of Annino .

The distance to the village of Annino is 4 km [20] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Krasnoe Selo is 8 km [15] .
