Springfield is an American city in Bay County, Florida , east of Panama City [1] . Received the status of the city on February 12, 1935 [2] .

Demographics
According to the 2010 census, 8903 people lived in the city, there were 3478 buildings and 2209 families. The population density is 794.9 people / km², the building density is 378.4 / km². Racial composition: 66.0% - white , 23.8% - African Americans , 0.7% - Indians , 3.8% - Asians , 0.1% - Hawaiians, 1.9% - representatives of other races and 3.8 % of representatives of mixed races. Hispanics make up 5.8% of the population [1] .
