John (Johnny) Yar Jr. ml. ( him. John "Johnny" Jahr jr. jr ; April 10, 1965 , Hamburg ) - German businessman and curling . Vice-world champion in 1987 , European champion in 1985 , a participant in the 2014 Olympic Games ( tenth place ). For the sake of participation in the Games, he resumed his playing career, which he first completed in 2000 [1] .

John is a hereditary entrepreneur: his grandfather John Yar Sr. now founded Gruner + Jahr , one of the largest publishing houses in Europe, and his father John Yar Jr. , among other business activities, was a board member of the publishing house and his shareholder. John Yar Jr. Jr. himself is the main shareholder of the two casinos , the shareholder of the family publishing house, as well as the owner of the Hamburg curling team founded by his father, for which he acts as a player [1] .
