Najia ( Arabic: ناجية - saved) - in Islam - the Muslim community professing the true faith [1] .
According to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad , his community will break up into 73 communities, 72 of which will go to hell , and only one group that adheres to what Muhammad and his companions adhered to will go to heaven . This group is called ahlu s-sunna wa-l-jamaa ("people of the sunna and consent"). Muslim theologians have identified this category of believers with the Sunnis , but the definition of “surviving group” is of a general nature, therefore, members of any Muslim community could claim to be in paradise [2] .
Auf bin Malik reports that the Messenger of Allah , peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The Jews were divided into 71 groups. Alone in heaven, 70 in hell. Christians were divided into 72 groups. Alone in heaven, 71 in hell. By Allah, in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, my ummah will be divided into 73 groups. One group in paradise, 72 in hell. ” They asked: “O Messenger of Allah, who they are.” He answered: "Jamaat."
