Biography
Alexander Shpakov was born in Kiev in the area of Galitskaya Square . In childhood, he played for the team of the City Department of Education with coaches Mikhail Korsunsky and Evgeny Solovtsev. Later, at the Dynamo Youth Sports School he was invited by the famous Soviet children's coach Alexander Leonidov . Studying at Leonidov opened Shpakov’s path to the backup team of Kiev, but Alexander did not manage to get into Dynamo’s base. His performances in the first team were limited to two fights.
Not wanting to be an eternal reservist, Shpakov agreed to the proposal of Valery Lobanovsky , who was training the Dnipro at that time, and moved to Dnepropetrovsk . In Dnipro, Alexander quickly became the club’s main player, but the severe injury Shpakov received on July 21, 1970 in the 12th minute of the match against the Krylya Sovetov team [2] , erased the player’s hopes for continuing his career. About two years, Alexander was recovering from damage, but never entered the field again. In 1972, Shpakov finally completed his career as a player and returned to his hometown.
In 1978, the then head of the Youth Sports School “Dynamo” Anatoly Byshovets suggested that Alexander try himself in the field of coaching in the children's team. He was entrusted with working with a group of children in 1968, of which later Victor and Alexander Moroz, as well as Igor Zhabchenko, played at a high level. The next group of Shpakov was the football players of 1976, among whom, apart from Andrei Shevchenko , who became the owner of the Golden Ball , Igor Kostyuk , Vyacheslav Kernozenko , Vladimir Anikeev, Alexander Golokolosov and Igor Prodan should be singled out.
In 1992, Alexander Shpakov left Dynamo and moved to the UAE , where he coached children in the local Al-Ahly team. However, after receiving the champion's title in the local DUFL, he returned to his homeland, where in 1996 he took the group of 1985 to the Dynamo Youth Sports School. The graduates of this group were Alexander Yatsenko , Sergey Rozhok , Andrey Bashlai and Alexander Ivashchenko . In 2012, Shpakov celebrated the 35th anniversary of work in children's football and 40 years of work in the youth sports school Dynamo. As of 2013, Alexander Shpakov held the post of senior trainer of younger age groups in the youth sports school. Dismissed from the club on February 1, 2014.
