Catholic church of St. Ignatius of Loyola ( czech. Kostel svatého Ignáce z Loyoly ) is an early baroque church in Prague . It is located approximately in the middle of the eastern side of Charles Square at the corner of Ječna Street.

The temple was built by Carlo Lurago In the years 1665-1678 for the Jesuits . On the gable of the main facade is a sculpture of the founder of the Order Ignatius de Loyola . The interior is richly decorated using stucco . The sculptures of the saints inside the building were made by I. F. Platzer , J. J. Bendl and others. The main fresco behind the altar is painted by Y. Y. Heinsha [2] .
Next to the temple are the buildings of the New Jesuits College, which were built on the site of 23 houses and 13 gardens. Now these buildings are used for hospital purposes [2] .
