Shchemelinki is a village in the urban district of Shakhovskaya in the Moscow Region .

Geography

The village is located in the central part of the okrug, about 8 km southwest of the Shakhovskaya district center, on the southern shore of the Verkhneruz reservoir ^[7] , the height of the center above sea level is 212 m ^[8] . The nearest settlements are Brolino in the north and Sutoki in the southeast.

There are 14 streets in the village ^[9] .

Buses No. 44 and 46 stop ^[10] .

Historical Information

In 1769, on the site of the village was the wasteland of the Chentsovo-Khovansky camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province , which was in a dispute between the Sokovnins and Fedor Ivanovich Dmitriev-Mamonov ^[11] .

In the middle of the 19th century, the village of Shchemelenki belonged to the 1st camp of Volokolamsk Uyezd and belonged to Privy Councilor Vladimir Mikhailovich Prokopovich-Antonsky. In the village there were 13 households , peasants 28 male souls and 31 female souls ^[12] .

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Shchimelinki is the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Moscow highway, going from the border of the Zubtsov district to the city of Volokolamsk , 35 versts from the county town, with the Belaya River, with 12 yards and 135 inhabitants (63 men, 72 women) ^[3] .

According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Murikov volost , the number of male souls was 48 people ^[13] .

In 1913, there were 22 courtyards in the village, the Shvedov estate with a water mill ^[14] .

By a resolution of the Presidium of the Moscow Soviet on March 24, 1924, the Murikov volost was included in the Sudislovsky volost ^[15] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census - the village of the Titeevsky village council, 136 people lived (60 men, 76 women), there were 28 peasant farms ^[4] .

Since 1929 - a settlement as part of the Shakhovsky district of the Moscow region.

1994-1995 - the village of Cherlenkovsky rural district of the Shakhovsky district ^[16] .

1995-2006 - the village of Volochanovsky rural district of the Shakhovsky district ^[17] .

2006—2015 - The village of the rural settlement Stepankovskoye of the Shakhovsky district ^[18] ^[19] .

2015 - n. at. - the village of the urban district Shakhovskaya of the Moscow region ^[20] ^[21] .
