Akbastau ( kaz. Aқbastau , before 199? Kyzyltu) is a village in the Sairam district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Karasu rural district. The KATO code is 515257500 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 1020 people (499 men and 521 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 839 people lived in the village (418 men and 421 women) [2] .
