History
On November 14, 1918, the hetman P. P. Skoropadsky, the head of the Ukrainian state, announced the Federation Act, by which he pledged to unite Ukraine with the future ( Bolshevik ) Russian state [1] .
On November 16, 1918, an uprising began, led by the UPR Directorate against the power of the hetman P.P. Skoropadsky rebel movement and supported by the rebel troops of the Ukrainian state under the command of S.V. Petlyura . A split occurred in the army and the Civil War began in Ukraine , which swept away yet another power.
After the short “Ukrainian Civil War on November 16 - December 14, 1918”, on December 14, the hetman P. P. Skoropadsky ordered the defenders of Kiev to be demobilized and renounced power. [2] , [3] , [4]
After the uprising of 1918, the creation of new structures of the Ukrainian People’s Republic (Ukrainian Ukrainian People’s Republic) began, but they were based on the reforms that had been started by the former Ukrainian states.
