Club career

After a good performance at the 1991 World Youth Championships, the 15-year-old Dua was bought by the Serie A club, Torino , along with three other teammates. He never played in official matches for the Italian club, and also spent a very difficult time in his next team, Standard Liege from Belgium .

After two years in Turkey with Adana Demirspor and Eskisehirspor , Dua joined Mallorca from the Spanish Segunda . Alternately taking to the pitch, he helped the team go to La Liga . In his next club - also from the second division - he spent the most productive and stable period of his career. He played five years for Unian Leiria from Portugal and also achieved a promotion in his debut season with the club, scoring 11 goals in just 18 games.

Dua regularly played for Leiria in subsequent seasons in the elite, but played only ten games in the 2001-02 season (scored three goals), when Jose Mourinho led the club to the Intertoto Cup after seventh place in the championship . Subsequently, Dua was fired and continued to play in Portugal, playing two seasons with Gil Vicente also in the first division.

Dua ended his career in 2008 at nearly 32 years after two years of play in Lebanon and Israel .

International Career

Dua was a member of the junior national team of Ghana, which won the 1991 World Cup in Italy , he scored his only goal in the tournament against Spain (1: 0). In 1993, he again played the FIFA World Cup, this time for the youth national team , which reached the final and lost to the Brazil national team there [1] .
