Lucien Massard ( Fr. Lucien Massart ; August 22, 1908, Lint - September 5, 1988) is a Belgian scientist, biologist , professor at the Department of Natural Sciences at Ghent State University , doctor of chemical sciences , specialist in animal husbandry and plant biochemistry, in particular, enzymology . Rector of the University of Antwerp (1965).

The creator of the biochemical school of Belgium. Laureate of the Franky Prize in the field of biological or medical sciences ( 1957 ); Leo Herrera (1941).
In 1951, together with Eduard Bigwood, Jean Brachet, Christian de Duve , Marcel Florkin, Paul Puttseys and others was one of the founders of the Belgian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
