Features

HD 85390 is an orange dwarf 8.54 visible magnitude, and not visible to the naked eye ; for the first time in astronomical literature is mentioned in the catalog of Henry Draper , published at the beginning of the XX century . Its mass is 76% of the mass of the Sun. [1] The surface temperature is approximately 5186 Kelvin . The luminosity of a star is 43% of the solar.

Planet System

In 2009, astronomers working with the HARPS spectrograph announced the discovery of the planet HD 85390 b in the system. [1] It has a mass equal to 13% of the mass of Jupiter and is drawn at a distance of 1.52 AU from the parent star. A year on the planet lasts 788 days.

The second planet, HD 85390 c , was discovered in 2013 . [4] Its orbit lies further - at a distance of 4.23 AU The mass of the planet is 20% of the mass of Jupiter. Below is a summary table of the characteristics of both planets.
