It is located 20 km south of the city of Novorzhev and 16 km south of the village of Makarovo . It is located on the Bezhanitsky Upland on the Lobnovsky Massif, between the Lobno Mountains (to the south-east) and Lipnitskaya (to the south-west of the village, making it the highest located settlement in the Pskov Region ) [1] [2] .
The population as of 2000 is 6 residents [3] .
Until 2005, the village was part of the Zaboryevsky volost with its center in the village of Makarovo .
