Manyukov Oleg Grigorievich (1934—1981) - Soviet painter and graphic artist . The ideologue and one of the pioneers of the movement of non - conformist art in Leningrad . He was among the organizers of the first exhibitions of non-conformist artists in the 1960s. Oleg Manyukov is known for his experiments with textured painting. He invented special compositions for levkasnoy basis on canvas, on top of which he painted and created compositions using the most unexpected materials.

In November 2005, the All-Russian Museum of Alexander S. Pushkin presented an exhibition of works by O.G. Manyukova "Thirty years later." The museum collection contains more than twenty paintings by the master donated to the museum in the first half of the 1970s. Significant cycles of the artist's works are inspired by the images of the heroes of Pushkin and Dostoevsky.
Researchers speak of the artist as an innovator of style and creator of a new technique of painting.
