Application
KPK-3 is used for harvesting potatoes in fields that meet the following conditions:
- Medium soil (humidity 12-24%) or heavy waterlogging (humidity up to 30%)
- The absence of stones over 50 mm, the total mass of stones in the topsoil - up to 8 t / ha
- No tops
- Mass of plant residues - up to 6 t / ha
It is aggregated with tractors MTZ-80/82 , MTZ-100/102 , MTZ-142 , T-70 S, DT-75 MH with narrow tracks. It is serviced by a tractor driver and combine operator.
Evaluation
The combine has earned its popularity in the potato industry due to a number of advantages: the receiving part consists of three digging sections, including slotted disks and plowshares, which ensured stable operation of the separating organs; intensifying augers in the elevator design, which ensure loosening of the tubular formation; additional separation of impurities and plant residues due to plastic slides.
But it also has several significant flaws: it often damages the tubers; when working on loam does not provide a sufficiently good separation.
