Biography

The third son of the boyar and the governor, Prince Semyon Andreevich Urusov (c. 1610 - 1657 ) and Fedosya Borisovna Lykova (? - 1693 ). Brothers - Princes Fedor , Yuri and Nikita Semenovichi Urusovs .

In April 1656, the steward P. S. Urusov “ dressed up the wine ” at a dinner on the occasion of the birthday of Tsarina Maria Ilyinichna Miloslavskaya , the first wife of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich “The Quietest” .

In May-June 1656 - esaul in the tsar’s regiment during the campaign of the Russian army under the command of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich to Riga .

In July 1656, he “ dressed up wine ” at a royal dinner in honor of the Krutitsky Metropolitan Pitirim in Polotsk . In 1656 - 1658 he served as a steward , cup-holder and market man at the royal court.

In November 1658, Prince Pyotr Semyonovich Urusov was granted Kravchia .

In 1670 - 1671, Prince P. S. Urusov, commanding the "ship's army", participated in the suppression of the uprising led by Stepan Timofeevich Razin .

On January 30, 1676, he participated in the funeral ceremony of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich , and in February of that year he received the boyar rank .

In 1679 he served as governor in Smolensk .

He owned estates in Moscow and Pereyaslav counties , he also owned 421 yards in Pereyaslavl-Zalessky , Venev and Nizhny Novgorod .

He died in 1686 and was buried in the Zlatoust monastery in Moscow .

Family and Children

He was twice married. In 1651 he married Evdokia Prokofievna Sokovnina (c. 1635–1675), daughter of the boyar Prokofy Fedorovich Sokovnin (d. 1662) and Anisya Nikitichna Naumova , sister of the noblewoman Theodosia Morozova . Divorced her. Children from their first marriage:

  • Prince Vasily Petrovich (1652-1677), a steward , married to Stepanida Ivanovna, daughter of Ivan Borisov Repnin .
  • Princess Anastasia Petrovna (1662-1715), wife of the boyar and governor Mikhail Lvovich Plescheev (d. 1683) and since 1685 boyar Fyodor Petrovich Sheremetev (1655-1722).
  • Princess Evdokia Petrovna (1665-1677), wife of Prince Jacob Ivanovich Lobanov-Rostovsky (1660-1732) from 1680.

In 1673, he remarried to Stefanida Danilovna Stroganova (1656/1658 - until 1703), daughter of Daniil Ivanovich Stroganov (1622–1668) and Agafya Timofeevna Elizarova. Children from the second marriage:

  • Prince Grigory Petrovich (1674-1704), steward.
