Solo Activity
Ki Kwan trained at JYP Entertainment for 4 years. After he moved to Cube Entertainment , becoming the first trainee, and debuted on April 2, 2009, as a solo artist AJ (Ace Junior). On April 2, his mini-album First Episode A New Hero was released. AJ released 2 singles: Dancing Shoes and Nunmureul Dakko. The video for the song “Dancing Shoes” starred Hyuna , a 4Minute member. Chun Hyun took part in the recording of the second single “Wipe the Tears”, and Du Joon was involved in the promotion version, except for Chun Hyun . They both starred in the same video and performed with AJ in various music programs. He starred in the short reality show "Diary of AJ" on MTV. The show aired on May 9, 2009 and consisted of 2 episodes. It showed AJ's preparations for his debut. The media called it the “next Rhine ." June 17, 2009 opened the Korean concert Lady Gaga . However, his solo debut cannot be called successful. In August 2009, Ki Kwan completed his solo career and became a member of the group - BEAST .
