He received his primary musical education in Omsk, at music school No. 2 and muses. College of them. Shebalina. Then he graduated from the State Music and Pedagogical Institute. Gnesins .

He won the 1st All-Russian Competition of Folk Instruments in Moscow (1972) in the Domra nomination and at International Competitions in Sofia (Bulgaria, 1968) and Bratislava (Slovakia, 1981). In 1971 he became a soloist on the domra and accompanist of the group of small domras of the State Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments named after N. P. Osipova . At the moment, he is a teacher teaching the game of domra in the RAM. Gnesins.
