According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town area is 92 km², of which 89 km² is land and water is 3.1%.

According to the 2000 census ^[1], there were 329 people, 126 households, and 99 families. The population density is 9.6 people / km². On the territory of the town there are 132 buildings with an average density of 3.8 square kilometers. Racial composition of the population: 97.57% of whites , 0.30% of Asians and 2.13% are two or more other races.

Out of 126 households, children under 18 years old were brought up in 28.6%, married couples lived in 70.6%, single women lived in 5.6%, and non-family people lived in 21.4% of households. 19.8% of households consisted of one person, while 7.9% of them were single elderly people over 65. The average household size is 2.61 and the family is 2.97.

27.7% of the population is under 18 years old, 5.5% are between the ages of 18 and 24, 28.0% are between 25 and 44, 21.9% are between 45 and 64, and 17.0% are over 65. The average age is 38 years. For every 100 females there are 106.9 males. For every 100 females over 18, there are 112.5 males.

The median annual household income was $ 36,111, and the median annual household income was $ 40,625. The average income for men is $ 32,031, while for women it is $ 23,750. Per capita income was $ 15,830. Below the poverty line were 7.2% of families and 13.7% of the total population of the township, of which 8.9% were over 65 years old.
