Biography
Smakov Musa Gatiyatullovich was born in 1885 in the village of Smakovo, Sterlitamak district, Ufa province, now Meluzovsky district of Bashkortostan.
In 1917 he took part in work in all the All-Bashkir kurultais (congress) , which took place in Orenburg and Ufa .
Since August 1917 - member of the Bashkir central (regional) shuro (council) [1] . From November 1917 he headed the department of education under the Bashkir government.
In December 1917 he was elected a deputy to the Small Kurultai (Kese-Kurultai) [2] .
In 1918 he was authorized by the Bashkir government in the Argayash canton .
In October — December 1918, together with Kh. K. Kushaev and others, he was under arrest by order of the representative of the Provisional Siberian Government, Colonel Velek.
In 1919 he worked in the Bashkir Military Revolutionary Committee .
Since December 1920, Musa Smakov became a member of the board of the people's commissariat of education of the Autonomous Bashkir Soviet Republic .
In the 1930s, he worked at the Yuzhuralles Trust in Ufa.
In 1936 he was repressed as a “Bashkir nationalist” . He was rehabilitated.
The further fate of Musa Smakova is unknown.
