Serge, go away! ( armenian Սերժի՛կ, հեռացի՛ր ) is the main political slogan of the Armenian opposition, which has spread since 2009, when Serzh Sargsyan has been in power in Armenia for more than a year [1] [2] .
The slogan was originally voiced at rallies of the Armenian National Congress [3] [4] , but then gained non-party distribution and was chanted by representatives of other parties [5] and ordinary citizens regardless of party preferences [6] [7] , including Karabakh veterans war [8] .
The slogan is also popular in the Armenian diaspora . There are many cases of his chanting in protest during official visits of Sargsyan in Strasbourg [9] , Prague [10] , Paris [11] , Los Angeles [12] .
According to the director of the Armenian Center for Strategic and National Studies, Manvel Sargsyan, the slogan “Serzh, go away!” Has become universal [13] .
