Originally from Friuli . He was probably born in the last third of the 15th century, at the beginning of his career he worked in Vicenza in the first half of the 16th century, under the leadership of Bartolomeo Montagna .
In 1520-1521 he returned to his homeland in Friuli, created his works under the influence of the pictorial style of Giovanni Pordenone .
Accused of complicity in the murder in 1527, he was expelled from Venice and went to Trento , where he created a number of frescoes, including painted the house of Katsuffi, the works of Marcello Fogolino adorn Buonconcillo castle, palaces of Malpaga, Sardanha and others in the Trentino area.
One of his early paintings “Adoration of the Magi” in the Civil Art Gallery (Museo Civico), the oldest museum in Vicenza, is interesting because of the Dutch and German influence in the colorful landscape of the artist.
