Geography
It is located 9 km southeast of the town of Priedor and 35 km northwest of Banja Luka , on the railway between these cities. Railway station of the same name to the city of Kozarac , located to the north-east [2] .
Population
According to the 2013 census, the population of the village of Trnopol was 3,055 people [1] [3] .
The ethnic composition of the population of the village according to the 1991 census:
- Bosnian Muslims - 2.667 (72.02%),
- Serbs - 576 (15.55%),
- Croats - 43 (1.16%),
- Yugoslavs - 48 (1.29%),
- others - 369 (9.96%).
