Biography
Ivan Fedorovich was close to the Grand Duke Vasily I Dmitrievich , occupying a high place at the court. The name of Ivan is mentioned in a letter to Khan Edigey Vasily I, where he is referred to as the treasurer, favorite and "elder" of the Grand Duke. In addition, it says that Ivan Fedorovich is the main adviser to Vasily I and who “gives unreasonable advice in his youth and inexperience” [1] .
Ivan's signature as a witness stands on three spiritual: in 1389 on the spiritual Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy , in 1405 and 1425 - on the spiritual Vasily I [2] [3] .
He died after 1425 [3] . Of his four sons, two or three were also boyars [1] .
