Östergarnsholm ( Swedish: Östergarnsholm ) is a Swedish island in the Baltic Sea , located 3 km east of Gotland . Administratively refers to the Gotland commune of Gotland flax .

The area of the island is 2 km². There is no forest cover.
The island has the remains of a prehistoric fortification. Throughout history, several lighthouses were built on Östargarnsholmen. The old lighthouse, built in 1817-1818, is now declared a monument of architecture. Next to it stands the lighthouse of 1849, which was used while the construction of a new lighthouse was on the east side of the island.
Currently, there are two lighthouses on the island: Estergarn (36.2 m) and Estergarn V (12.5 m).
