Etiology (philosophy)

Etiology ( Greek. Αἰτία “reason” + other Greek. Λόγος “judgment, doctrine”) - the study of cause or root cause from a philosophical point of view. [1] The concept is applied in philosophy, physics , psychology , political science , geography , spatial analysis, medicine , theology and biology in relation to the causes of various phenomena and entities, outside the context of their properties. An etiological myth is called a myth that explains the origin of certain things or phenomena (for example, animals), names, family families, or tells the mythical story of a particular place.
