General information
The settlement does not have its own official symbols. In the village there is a school, two kindergartens, two shops, a summer recreation center "Belousovo" and a children's recreation camp LLC "Sapfir-Yuzhuralstroyservis".
Geographical position
The village is located in the eastern part of the Etkul region, 34 km from the regional center - the village of Etkul and 70 km from the regional center - the city of Chelyabinsk. Belousovo is located in a picturesque place on the shores of Lake Big Shantropay, which is a natural monument. The water in the lake is salty, similar in composition to the Black Sea, and the mud in the lake has healing properties. The village is surrounded by a birch forest, as well as partially pine forest. Also nearby is the Small Shantropay Lake and a small lake, called Borovushka. Duck hunting is widespread on Lake Borovushka; in spring, swans are frequent guests on the lake.

Local government
Local self-government is carried out on the territory of the Belousovsky rural settlement in order to resolve issues of local importance, based on the interests of the population, taking into account historical and other local traditions. From 2013 to the present, the head of the administration of the rural settlement has been Mikhail Osintsev.
The representative body of the Belousovsky rural settlement is the Council of Deputies, which is a permanent collegial body of the settlement, empowered to resolve issues of local importance provided for by the Charter of the rural settlement. The Council of Deputies consists of 11 people.
Communications
On the territory of the village of Belousovo, there are two artesian wells, there is a village water supply, electricity is supplied, however, residents have problems with both. It is planned to conduct gas. There are problems with the telephone.
