Biography
In 1928 he graduated from the Leningrad Zootechnical College. He worked as a livestock specialist, director of state farms in the Moscow, Tambov, Penza, Kaluga regions. In 1932 he joined the CPSU (b) [2] .
Since 1953 - Director of the state farm (from 1960 goslemzavod for the cultivation of landrace pigs) "Kudinovo" Maloyaroslavetsky district of the Kaluga region.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 22, 1966, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for the successes achieved in the development of animal husbandry, the increase in production and procurement of meat, milk, eggs, wool and other products. Subsequently, he was awarded the second Order of Lenin. Honored Livestock Specialist of the RSFSR.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of the 7th, 8th and 9th convocations (since 1967). The delegate of the XXII and XXIV congresses of the CPSU . Repeatedly elected as a member of the bureau of the Kaluga regional committee of the CPSU , deputy of the regional and Maloyaroslavets regional councils of people's deputies [2] .
He was buried in a cemetery in the village of Kudinovo .
Memory
The name of V. N. Tsvetkov was assigned to the Kudinovo state-owned factory and Kudinovskaya high school.
On June 18, 1977, a monument to V. N. Tsvetkov was unveiled at the central estate of the V. N. Tsvetkov state factory [4] .
