Description
This gun had two barrels located vertically relative to each other. The recommended distance for shooting is 10-12 m. The first shot needed to hit the target, the second - to make a control shot in the head. 7.62 mm ammunition had a good penetrative effect [3] .
Options and Modifications
The gun was produced in two versions [4] :
- C4 - the first model, chambered for 7.62 × 63 mm PZ [4]
- С4М - modification for the cartridge 7.62 × 63 mm PZAM (with a modified design of the sleeve) [4] = С4М =
Subsequently, on the basis of the design of the C4 and C4M pistols, a silent MSP pistol was developed.
Operator countries
- USSR - C4 and C4M pistols were in service with the KGB of the USSR and army special forces units [1]
- Russia - some S4M remained in service after the collapse of the USSR in 1991 [2]
