Zambarlukos, Haris

Haris Zambarloukos ( born Haris Zambarloukos ; born March 11, 1970 ) is a Cypriot cameraman . He is best known for his work in films such as Venus (2006), Detective (2007), Mamma Mia! ”(2008) and“ Thor ”(2011). [2]

Early life and career

Haris Zambarlukos was born on March 11, 1970 in Nicosia , Cyprus . He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Central College of Art and Design named after St. Martin in London . He received a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography from the American Film Institute in 1997. [2] [3] He worked as a trainee for the cameraman under the direction of Conrad Hall in the movie Civil Law (1998). His first feature film as a cameraman was the 2000 movie Obscura Camera. In 2006, Variety magazine called him “One of the 10 operators who watch.” His first collaboration with director Kenneth Branagh was in the movie Detective , starring Michael Kane . They collaborated again in the 2011 superhero movie Thor . [4] [5] Zambarlucos is a member of the Board of Governors of the British Society of Cameramen. [3]
