Biography
The start at the Oslo Winter Olympics (1952) as part of the Swiss Quartet, which won a bronze medal, was the only major competition in which the athlete took part.
In the years 1971-1977. he was president of FC Sion football club. He was a well-known construction business businessman in Switzerland, was involved in the so-called “SAVRO case”, when in 1977 four employees of this company burned 1820 kilograms of accounting documents. Thirteen people were arrested in the case for corruption, three of them, including Filippini, were found guilty and sentenced to eight years in prison and a large fine.
