MSK-1 - Soviet trailed single - row cabbage harvester . Designed for continuous harvesting of cabbage of medium and late varieties, bringing it to its marketable appearance and loading into freight vehicles . MSK-1 was the first machine in the USSR whose quality of trimming heads was compared with the quality of manual trimming.
Principle of Operation
MSC-1 can operate in two ways:
- Refinement of heads to presentation in a combine harvester and subsequent loading into freight vehicles. To work according to this scheme, headlands of 12 m wide at the ends of the headland are prepared on the field, as well as strips 8 m wide on both sides of the harvested area for the passage of the combine and truck.
- Loading untreated heads of cabbage into freight vehicles for storage or sorting.
The harvester cuts the heads out of the root, tears off rosette leaves and sends the heads out to the inspection table, where workers examine and process them. Coverage - 0.7 m. Productivity - up to 0.18 ha / h. For normal operation of the machine, the translational speed of the unit should be kept at about 2.8 km / h, the rotational speed of the tractor PTO shaft is 535 rpm. Cutting most of the green leaves is achieved by setting a gap in the range of 50-80 mm between the leveling screws . The lower branch of the sling conveyor relative to the cutting plane of the circular knives is adjusted with guide sprockets within 115-135 mm. The driven shaft of the receiving conveyor must be installed at a height of 400-500 mm above the ground. The combine wheels are controllable and connected by a hydromechanical system to the steering wheels of the tractor.
