Angarskcement JSC is a cement production company in the Irkutsk region . As of 2013, it ranks 2nd in terms of sales among enterprises of the building materials industry in Eastern Siberia [2] . Full name - Joint-Stock Company Angarsk Cement-Mining Plant. Headquarters and production facilities are located in Angarsk, Irkutsk Region.

Content
History
The decision to build a cement plant in the Irkutsk region was made in 1950. Design was carried out for 5 years by the Leningrad Institute " Giprocement ", in 1955 the construction of the enterprise began. Technological lines were launched sequentially in December 1957 (first), February and March 1958 (second and third), February 1960 (fourth). Cement 'of the Angarsk cement and mining plant was used in the construction of the Bratsk , Ust-Ilim , Vilyui hydropower plants [3] . Currently, the only cement plant in the region; the market share in the Irkutsk region in 2013 is 22% [4]
Owners and management
Since 2011, a 50.52% stake has been owned by Russian Cement Company LLC (a joint venture of the Siberian Cement holding company and the Russian Technologies state corporation). A holding of 29.9% of the shares is owned by the holding company Siberian Cement . The remaining shares are in the hands of private portfolio investors [5] .
The general director of the enterprise since 2011 is Vladimir Afanasin [6] .
Since November 2016, the General Director of Angarskcement JSC has been Dmitry Sergeyevich Kireev. [7]
Production Characteristics
Production capacity - 1.2 million tons per year. Cement production is carried out according to the "wet" method. The raw material base is the “Pass” quarry in the town of Slyudyanka, Irkutsk Region [3] .
Conflicts
From 2004 to 2011, RATM-Holding and Siberian Cement , who at that time owned approximately equal blocks of shares, fought for the operational management of the enterprise. The conflict ended after a controlling stake was acquired by Russian Cement Company LLC [8] .
