Agne Sereikaitė ( lit. Agnė Sereikaitė ; born October 19, 1994 , Vilnius , Lithuania ) is a Lithuanian short-tracker . Bronze medalist of the European Championship 2015 at a distance of 1000 meters. Participant in the 2014 Olympic Games . She completed her career in 2018 [1] .

Career
She started doing short track in her native Vilnius at the age of 10 under the guidance of coach Yarmil Gruzy [2] .
The first international start - the 2010 World Junior Championships in Taipei did not bring her success. Agne was marked only by participation in the preliminary races and 35 final place in the all-around.
In 2011, she participates in the European Championship in the Dutch Heerenveen , where she reaches the quarterfinals at a distance of 500 meters. At the same time, she begins to go through several rounds at various distances at the stages of the World Cup, and in 2012 at the World Junior Championships in Melbourne she achieves her first serious success - she becomes a silver medalist at 500 meters and takes 5th place in the total all-around .
At the Winter Universiade 2013 becomes a bronze medalist at a distance of 500 meters [3] .
Relatively successful performances at international competitions allowed Agna to represent Lithuania at the 2014 Winter Olympics . In Sochi, she was able to reach the semi-finals of 1,500 meters , taking the final 16th place at this distance. At 500 meters she was not able to pass the sieve of qualification races (24th place), and 1000 meters ended in disqualification [2] . At the closing ceremony of the games she was entrusted with the honor of flying the flag of Lithuania [4] .
In 2015, Sereikayte won the first adult medal of major international starts. At the European Championships in Dordrecht, she became the 3rd at a distance of 1000 meters. In the overall standings based on the results of four distances, Agne was in the high 6th position [5] . 3 weeks after this success, she took part in the winter Universiade , where in competition with a number of strong Asian athletes she managed to get another bronze medal at a distance of 500 meters [6] .
Currently a student at the Lithuanian University of Sports [7] . He speaks 4 languages: Lithuanian, English, Czech and Russian [2] .
