Serrano is a dead (inactive) Native American language that belongs to the Serran group of the Takian branch of the Uto-Astek language family, which was previously spoken by the people of Serrano ( en: Serrano people ), living in the Straits of San Gorgonio and San Bernandino, South State California in the USA. Only very few elderly people are native speakers, but not completely fluent (2007). Currently, people speak English.
