The Industrial-Agricultural District ( Chinese р 区 , Pinyin : gōngnóngqū ) is a county level administrative unit in China. Industrial and agricultural areas were created in Sichuan in areas of important industrial importance, where for any reason it was impossible to establish urban structures.
Existing industrial and agricultural areas in Sichuan:
- Jinkouhe (金口 河 工农 区) - existed in Leshan County (乐山 地区). In 1985, Leshan County was transformed into the Leshan City District, and the Jinkouhe Industrial and Agricultural District became its Jinkouhe District.
- Huayun (华云 工农 区) - In 1985, it was transformed into Huaying city district of Guang'an city district.
- Baisha (白沙 工农 区) - in 1993, was merged with Wanyuan County to Wanyuan County of Dazhou City District.
