The length is 15 km. The source is at the village of Gmyry, Smolensk district, Smolensk region. The direction of the current is first south, then west. It flows through the villages of Zharnevo , Kobozevo , Demidovo , Yurchagi . It flows into the Whirlwind opposite the village of Chistyaki .
Lastovka flows into Trostyanka, as well as several nameless streams.
