The starstar of Martyanov , or Mezostem Martyanov [2] ( lat. Stellaria martjanovii ) is a species of the genus Star of the Stellaria family of the Caryophyllaceae family.

The species is named in honor of the Russian botanist Nikolai Mikhailovich Martyanov .
Content
Relic . Perennial herb 3-6 cm tall. Rhizome thick, branched. Stems depart from underground stolons 5–12 cm long, densely leafy, glandular leafy. Leaves 5-7 mm long and 1.5-2 mm wide, sessile, oblong-ovate. Pedicle , densely pubescent, ferruginous, equal in length to the leaves. Sepals number 4, pointed, egg-shaped. Flowers solitary, white, apical or axillary. Petals number 4, and a half to two times the cup . The flowering period is June – July [3] .
Described from the river Tete (tributary Chui ) [4] .
Mesophyte , petrophyte . It lives on stony slopes, pebbles and scree. It occurs at altitudes from 2200–2300 to 2900 m above sea level [3] .
Rare view. Listed in the Red Books of Russia and the Altai Republic [5] .
The limiting factor is the small number of populations.
