Biography

He began to engage in wrestling in 1978 in Lansing . In 1982, he won the Greco-Roman wrestling competition for the first time in Michigan , and then confirmed his title.

He entered the University of Louisiana , during training, three times won the title of national champion according to All-American . In his final year, the wrestler moved to the University of Iowa and, as part of his team, in 1987 won the second place according to the NCAA

In 1990 he became the champion of the Pan American Championship. The following year, he confirmed his title of Pan American champion by winning the Pan American Games, and also became the world champion.

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, he fought in the category of up to 82 kilograms ( average weight ). In 1993, he won the World Cup, and at the World Championships he remained only fourth. In 1994, he was a bronze medalist at the World Cup and only 11th at the World Cup.
