Biography
Born on November 6, 1936 in Shatura ( Moscow region ).
In absentia, graduated from the Moscow Polytechnic Institute named after I. M. Gubkin .
Over the years, he worked as a mining horn of a metallurgical plant, a planer at a heavy machine-building plant ( Elektrostal ), operator, chief engineer, director of the Shchelkovo underground gas storage, referent of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR A.N. Kosygin .
1983-1991 - Deputy Head, Head of the Secretariat of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR L. D. Ryabev
1992-1993 - Deputy Head of the Department for Capital Construction of the Gazprom State Concern
January-December 1993 - head of the apparatus of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Federation ( government of Chernomyrdin ).
