Biography
Born in deportation on May 4, 1945 in the Karaganda region of the Kazakh SSR. At school he was engaged in amateur performances . Then he entered the cultural enlightenment school, was the soloist of the vocational education and song ensemble. Subsequently, he became the leader of this team (1960-1964). Then he began to create his own dance productions.
He graduated from the directing and ballet department of the Moscow State Institute of Theater Arts . As one of the best students, he was sent to choreography and teaching in the GDR . In the Berlin School of Choreography and on the stages of famous theaters in Berlin ( Komische Oper , Stadts Oper, Friedrichstadtpalast ) he staged two one-act ballets .
In the 1970s, Elimbaev led the Vainakh ensemble. His choreographic performances formed the basis of the tour program with which the ensemble traveled to many countries of the world: Mozambique , Kenya , South America , Turkey , Syria , Iraq , Jordan .
In 1995, with the outbreak of hostilities, he moved from Grozny to Moscow . In 1999, he created the Zia ensemble, which he still leads.

Family
Wife Elimbaeva Lidia Alaudinovna, general director and economist of the ensemble "Ziya". She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Chechen State University in 1993.
Children: son Tugan - lawyer, daughter Petimat - lawyer, grandson Said-Khamzat (1990) - student of Grozny Petroleum University , granddaughter of Leila (2007) [3] .
