According to the 2010 All-Russian Census, the resident population was 46 people (25 men, 21 women) [1] .
Geography
It is located near the border of the Moscow and Tver regions, about 24 km north-west of the regional center - the urban-type settlement Shakhovskaya . It adjoins the village of Ivashkovo from the west.
There is one street in the village - Novaya [7] .
Neighboring settlements - the village of New Nesytovo , as well as the villages of Kashentsevo and Polukhtino, Zubtsovsky district, Tver region.
Historical Information
In 1769, Kosilova was the village of Izdedelemsky camp of the Volokolamsk district of Moscow province , the possession of the College of Economy , formerly the Joseph Monastery (granted to him in 1622 by Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich [8] ). 278 acres of 686 arable seedlings and 40 tithes of 102 sowing grass cuttings belonged to the possession. There were 103 souls in the village [9] .
In the middle of the XIX century, the village of Kasilovo belonged to the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district and belonged to the Department of State Property . The village had 33 yards , 135 male souls and 129 female souls [2] .
In the βList of Populated Placesβ of 1862, there is a state village of the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Zubtsovsky tract (from the village of Yaropolch ), 48 versts from the county town, at the pond, with 38 yards and 259 residents (130 men, 129 women) [3] .
According to the data for 1890, the village of Kosilova was part of the Ploskovsky volost , the number of male souls was 126 people [10] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census, the center of the Kosilovsky village council of the Ramensky volost , 239 people lived (108 men, 131 women), there were 48 peasant farms [4] .
