Career
He competed in the women's 4 × 400 meter relay during the 2012 Summer Olympics. Heffernan is the fifth in the Irish Women's Book of Records.
Personal life
Marian is married to world champion in walking race Robert Heffernan (born 1978). The spouses have two children - the son Ketal Heffernan (born 2005) and daughter Regan Maureen Heffernan (born 26.01.2014) [1] .
