Biography

From hereditary nobles. The son of a military Dmitry Dmitrievich Tversky. Landowner of the Ryazan Province.

In 1896 he graduated from the Imperial College of Law with a silver medal. He served in the Ministry of Justice , held the posts of prosecutor commander of the Kashinsky, Ryazan and Moscow district courts, then the prosecutor of the Ufa and Nizhny Novgorod district courts. In 1912 he was transferred to the prosecutor of the Moscow District Court. He served to the rank of State Counselor .

In 1915 he moved to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and on September 21 was appointed Saratov Governor . After the February Revolution, he was arrested by the provincial commissioner of the Provisional Government and sent to Petrograd , after which he was released.

After the October Revolution, sent the family abroad, and he participated in the White movement. He served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the South-Russian Government : he was the Voronezh Governor , then Assistant Commander-in-Chief for the Civil Part, and so on. Black Sea Governor. In the last position he was in charge of the Novorossiysk evacuation in March 1920. Later he was a member of ID. Head of the Civil Administration in the Government of the South of Russia .

After the evacuation of the Crimea joined the family in Yugoslavia. Then he moved to Germany, and in the second half of the 1920s - to France. He lived in Paris. He was a member of the board of the Union of Former Workers of the Russian Judicial Department, in 1935 he appeared in it with the report “The Imperial School of Law and the Russian Court”. He was a member of the cash register committee of the Society of Lawyers and Jurists, in 1935 participated in a solemn meeting in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Imperial School of Law. In 1939, he spoke at the Congress of Orthodox-national figures with reports on the possible organization of internal administration and the court in Russia liberated from the Bolsheviks.

He died in 1942 after a long illness. Buried in the cemetery of Sainte-Genevieve de Bois .

Family

He was married to Natalia Nikolaevna Rodzevich (1877-1960). Their daughters: Maria (born 1909) and Nina (born 1911).
