Copper jumper [3] ( lat. Plecturocebus cupreus ) is a species of primates from the sak family. In 2016, according to molecular genetic studies, Byrne and colleagues transferred the species from the genus Callicebus to the genus Plecturocebus [2] .

Description
The cheeks, neck, inner surface of the limbs, belly and chest are red, the back, base of the tail and head are brown. The forehead is reddish brown [4] .
Distribution
Representatives of the species are found in Peru south of the Maranion River , also in Brazil to the Purus River [1] .
Behavior
They inhabit both primary and secondary forests, preferring the latter. In the diet, fruits, leaves, insects and seeds. Monogamous. They form small family groups [5] .
