It is located near the confluence of the Enotaevka canal into the main channel of the Volga River and, about 38 km southeast of the village of Enotaevka , the administrative center of the region, at an altitude of 10 meters below sea level [2] .

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2010 the population of the village was 41 people (26 men and 15 women) [3] .
