Biography
Born in 1898 in the village of Budki, Bratslavsky district, Podolsk province of the Russian Empire , now Nemirovsky district, Vinnitsa region of Ukraine . In 1910, he moved with his parents to live in Central Asia , in the village of Cherkasskoye in the Semirechensk region .
He began his career as a laborer. In the years 1915-1918 he served in the Russian army. In 1918 he returned home. In 1918-1919 he participated in the Civil War , went down in history as an active participant in the Cherkasy defense. As part of self-defense units, he participated in battles with Cossacks and White Guards. In 1920-1923 he served in the Red Army . As part of the 5th cavalry regiment of the 7th cavalry brigade, he participated in battles with the Basmachi in the Ferghana Valley . He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner. In 1923, he returned to Cherkasskoye.
In 1930-1932 he was chairman of the Cherkasy village council in Taldy-Kurgan region . Since 1932 - Chairman of the collective farm "Red Steppe", since 1935 led the collective farm "Collective Labor". In 1939 he became a member of the CPSU (b) .
In July 1941, as a volunteer, he went to the front through the Sarkand district military enlistment office. Participated in the defense of Moscow , was wounded. Since March 1943, Sergeant Venediktov (in a number of front-line documents - Vinidiktov) guards fought in the 58th Guards Cavalry Regiment of the 16th Guards Cavalry Division. He fought on the Belorussian and 1st Belorussian fronts. For good leadership of his squad in battles for the city, Vladimir-Volynsky (Volyn Oblast of Ukraine) received the first military award - the medal “For Courage”. He participated in the liberation of cities and villages of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland in the Lublin-Brest operation , until January 1945 he participated in the defense on the eastern bank of the Vistula . In the battles during the East Pomeranian, he earned two more military awards - the Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree and the Glory of the 3rd degree. March 3 was wounded, Victory Day met in the hospital. In 1945 he was demobilized. He was awarded the medal " For the victory over Germany ."
After the war, he returned to the village, was again elected chairman of the collective labor collective farm. He devoted all his efforts to strengthening the collective farm economy and raising the welfare of collective farmers. Already in 1946, the collective farm exceeded the plans for delivering grain to the state, the grain harvest amounted to 9.6 centners per hectare instead of the planned 9, completely paid off the state for grain deliveries, filled up the necessary funds and managed to give bread to the collective farmers for workdays. Autumn and spring work was carried out competently on the collective farm fields: winter wheat was sown in clean pairs, harrowing and feeding with ash was carried out in early spring, etc. In 1947, a record crop was obtained at 41 hectares of winter wheat - 30.48 centners each per hectare. In the same year he was elected to the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 28, 1948, for receiving high yields of winter wheat, Venediktov Ivan Fedorovich was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle." Until 1955, he headed the Cherkasy Defense collective farm, then retired. He lived in the village of Cherkassk, now - the village of Cherkassk, Sarkand district, Almaty region of Kazakhstan . Date of death is unknown.
