Mesascalaphus yangi (lat.) Is a species of extinct insects from the family Mesochrysopidae of the order of the retina , typical and unique in the genus Mesascalaphus [1] . Found in the Cretaceous sediments of Asia. China (Liaoning) [2] . Body width 4.5 mm, front wing size 35.0 × 8.0 mm (rear wing 34.0 × 7.0 mm). Together with the fossil species of Ascalafs, such as Ululodes paleonesia , Ascaloptynx oligocenicus , Borgia proavus , Neadelphus protae , Prosuhpalacsa biamoensis , Ricartus edwardsi and Amoea electrodominicana , are Angel ( Engel M. ) and David Grimaldi ( Grimaldi DA ) [2] [3] [4] .
