Clotiapine is a drug, an atypical antipsychotic from the group of dibenzothiazepine derivatives. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of resistant forms of schizophrenia. Due to the higher risk of extrapyramidal side effects compared to clozapine and quetiapine, which are close in chemical structure to it, some sources classify this drug as typical antipsychotics.
